I took my truck in for oil pan and rear main seal repair. Pay 2500 f0r repairs and sill leaking oil..take it back and they say now intake needs done. I get a call from owner saying a foreign object fell in engine..they try to fix one head but the wrist pins were bent..so big waste of time and money on their part.. so now Bryan the owner says a Brand New Long block will be installed...well pass a month them having truck. Finally get back truck and conveniently owner is on vacation and the GM shop Manger Paul is there. 234 i paid for misc shop cost which I had to ask what is was for.. I get home and oil pan is still leaking..fellow consumers reading this... thats the original problem I had with the truck.. Paul says now no long Block was ordered so had to use my old oil pan. Long story is I went through all this and they did not ever have intentions of fixing oil pan. I lost my route because of them! Do not I say again do not go here! You have been ⚠️Ps beware of paid for reviews done by business to throw off a bad review they get. After I posted my negative experience several positive reviews surfaced right after lol wow be more obvious!! Shame I was so understanding with them and I got taken for a ride! I guess the money was more important than your name you said you cared about so much! I am by the way Purple Heart receiptant and disabled combat veteran with mental struggles for them to to this to me makes me think that there is no one they won't do this to. Also when I called and told Paul that the oil pan was still leaking and I said shame on you and he literally was laughing hysterically .that proves to me that Paul knew already about oil leak. So I will take my truck to a shop that will actually fix the oil pan pay another 1000 bucks or so .thanks guys .
I highly recommend Asher Automotive for their repair service. They did an excellent job on my dad car. The staff were friendly. They resolved problem quickly and at a reasonable price. Thank you guys for all your hard work.
Very prompt in service. Verified with what work appeared needed to be done or if it was bad sensor. Checked my auto for wear in various parts, compared to my driving habits and usage and help make a timeline for service. Upfront with me on costs and what to expect. Told me what was still good and what was showing wear in auto rather than telling me what service has to be done because this is a policy somewhere. Thank you for Asher’s service.
Paul and the Asher team for the past 2 1/2 years have been my go to shop for any serious and/or hard to diagnose issues on our gas and Diesels. They have conquered them all with absolute honesty and professionalism in a timely manner. This includes my last mistake where we put a full tank of gas in our 2015 Duramax and ran it until it choke a block away. They had to take the cab off and replace virtually all of the fuel system components. Its been 8 months now and not one issue from a very in-depth repair. They also filed all the evidence and expenses with the insurance company so all we had to do was pay our deductible and wait a bit. And did I mentioned how friendly they are....

Just wanted to give everyone out there a heads up , I have been taking my car to Brian for years, he is a great person.He is fair, and honest, you will get more than your money's worth from him and his techs.So if you are having vehicle trouble, check him out!
The Owner and Staff of Asher are truly Awesome!! Jennifer did such a great job from start to finish with informing us on the repairs and made it as easy and pain free as possible. Good work, insightful system with pictures and good information about the recommended service. I did have to be aware of which services I needed to decline because they were recommended based on mileage rather than condition (belt in particular). But overall satisfied and will return.
Oil changed on my 98 OBS Chevy with tire rotation. Even got some free money saving tips from staff on how to repair some of my interior. Fast and friendly service that is locally owed!
I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. I have called the attorney general's office and spoken with them about what happened here, and they were very interested in having all the records to review. I was lied to, yelled at and bullied into paying $1,000 over what I agreed to.
I had taken my truck 3 places and spent over $1500 trying to fix the problem, the others didn't know what was wrong and just threw work in to charge me for their services. Asher figured out what was wrong, and fixed the issue and my truck is running well again. I appreciate their service and expertise!
Couldn’t appreciate the guys over at Asher’s more. Had the chance to talk with Brian the owner and he’s one solid guy, real honest and hard working. All the mechanics/workers over there know what they are doing and have the fast cars you want to see parked in the lot for the reassurance. 100% going back for all my suspension, alignments and any questions i got about performance, no need to drive all the way to Houston anymore. Also a special thanks to Brendon for the hospitality and conversations!

Super grateful I called Asher automotive. I went be there shop after a recommendation by another Tacoma owner. It took home less than 20min to diagnose the issue my truck had. They repaired it and my truck is safe to drive again.It was also a last minute appointment, they didn’t need to take the time to see me last minute but they did. It's now been five days since getting my truck out of the shop for the third time with this company. After spending close to $3,000 my AC is still not working nor was my ventilation issue fixed correctly.I informed the shop months ago when I first took my truck and paid for the diagnostic that I had ventilation issues as well as my AC not getting cold.After months of back-and-forth and three separate times of it being in the shop trying to give them the chance to fix their mistakes. Even the owner himself apparently did some work to it out-of-pocket but... It's still not cold.They may be good at mechanical stuff but as far as AC work goes they have no clue what they're doing as far as I'm concerned. Thank goodness I now have proof showing exactly what I'm talking about. This is outrageous it's too hot to be cutting corners. And it's costed me a lot of money plus lost wages from it sitting in the shop.95 degrees outsideStationary (in the shade) with recycle turned on blows 75-78 degreesDriving 70-75 degreesUpdate: Since this review the AC has been blowing cooler then before but it's intermittent. Sometimes it works good sometimes it blows hot. I took the truck by the shop again for the owner to look and there wasn't anything he could do because it was blowing cold at that time. However the water from the condensation has been going into my passenger floorboard saturating it. The owner informed me that there's trash or something in the line that's causing it to go back into the cab so it's something gonna have to keep an eye on and address it every time it happens apparently. I do appreciate the owner taking the time to address these issues. I just don't like the inconvenience of having to take time out of my schedule to do so when I feel they should have gone through every vehicle on their own time to guarantee it's good before giving it back to customers.

I may be female, but this chick LOVES her truck, that being said, Asher Automotive is the one and only shop I will take my baby to. I can take my truck in and know that it's going to be taken great care of, as if it were one of their vehicles, I can only speak great and honest things about a great and honest shop.

Y'all this place is great. Not only were they great about getting my truck back to me ASAP, and the customer service is fantastic.I liked the transparency that you don't necessarily get at 'big box' mechanic shops. They itemize the quote beforehand for parts and labor so you know exactly what you're paying for and price-wise Asher is extremely competitive. It's worth it to go a few miles out of town and avoid the big box shops.I also really liked how they talked to me like 'an equal' and showed me exactly what wrong with my suspension. Since I'm a girl I've gotten talked down to a lot in shops and I'm not an expert but I know my way around a pick-up and I appreciate being treated as such. It goes a long way.I got a 10% discount for being a TAMU student, (also offered for active military), which really helped (especially in this economy 😳).Anyway, you can trust these people with your vehicle and with your girls away at college and with your mother in law if you like her.Jennifer and Paul need a raise, they run a tight ship!
I wouldn't trust my vehicles to anyone else in the BC/S area. Asher has extremely knowledgeable staff and are super friendly to boot! You won't find a more trustworthy shop anywhere around. Any work on my family's vehicles I can't do goes to Asher immediately. They were the only shop in town that knew how to align my wife's Malibu correctly and got it right THE FIRST TIME. They also aligned my lifted truck perfectly after many attempts at other shops (before we knew them) and now they are our only "go-to shop". Extremely reasonable prices as well- I think maybe TOO cheap sometimes! I don't ever do reviews, but I felt I needed to shine a light on Asher in this world of rip-off shops!! Trust us, don't waste money, time and stress anywhere else- just take your vehicle to Asher FIRST!!
This is the best shop ever! I was driving on the freeway and my car started shaking so bad and I could barely drive, I came to Asher Automotive and they help me out so much, they check my car out and told me what I needed and they got me in and out as fast as they could. I was back on the road in no time! They will work with you and have every good customer service!
They had the BEST service ever. So kind to me on the phone and in person. I love this place so much. After my car breaking down, they were so helpful and made me feel so much better. Definitely recommend this place, 10/10.

I just moved to the area about 4 months ago and had a hard time looking for a place that could work on my lifted truck. Took it to a few places where folks said they couldn't do anything with it and finally got recommended to go to Asher by Bryan Toyota dealership so thank you to them for the recommendation!Asher took my truck in, provided detailed explanations of my issues, fixed everything in a timely manner and so far my Loretta (truck) is smooth rolling!Thank you for everything!Also they have military discounts so vets this is a good place to go!!!
I can not say enough good things about Asher Automotive. Brought my truck in leaking fuel and even though they were very backed up they took the time to squeeze me in, found the problem and had it fixed in less than an hour. I will not go anywhere else. Very friendly as well.
Like always, Asher’s staff is top notch starting with the ladies in the front to the guys turning wrenches. They discussed and showed me everything up front so there were no “hidden charges” later. Needed my truck for work and they had me back running the next day(and stayed 30min late to make it happen). Thanks.
Brought my 1980 Jeep Golden Eagle in for a complete fuel system replacement and upgrade. Holley EFI, tank, pump, computer, distributor wires/plugs etc and they knocked it out of the park. I’ve used Asher for several years now and I still receive excellent customer service upon arrival, that’s first class. They’re very knowledgeable, trustworthy, informative, fair, and clear. They have experience in all make/models and especially performance & diesels, Asher guys were above amazing! And that’s hard to find these days but Asher is one of them! Definitely recommended 10/10.
If I could give more stars I would. Had a great experience at Asher Automotive. From the front desk to the shop to the owners. My truck had been broken down for 4 months. I had taken it to the dealer and they put a new turbo ($4000 part) then called me and said that it still wasn't the problem. They then told me that it was the egf($6000 part). I then took it to the great people at Asher Automotive. They fixed it in 1 day at a fraction of the cost. They have great knowledge, professional mechanics, office personnel, and great communication. Thank you Asher Automotive for getting me back on the road.
I take all of my vehicles personal and company trucks to Asher Automotive anytime they need to be worked on. They always do a great job. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly from the front office to the technicians working on my vehicles to Brian and Cheryl. They always let me know what is going on and when they expect my vehicle to be ready. Top notch shop.
Quick service, fair price, and comfy chairs! My Subaru was pretty misaligned to the point it vibrated if I ran over 55. Perfectly aligned in an hour and got all my assigned reading done in their waiting area. Highly recommend!
